Rev. Paul Agwu Amechi is the District Superintendent of Enugu District, Assemblies of God Nigeria. He was born on the 29th of September, 1959 and hails from Ugwuaji, Enugu South, Enugu State. He accepted Christ in 1975, got baptized in water in 1976, baptized in the Holy Spirit and also became a Full Member in 1981 while serving as a Prayer President in his Local Church.
He began pastoring a Church as early as August, 1982 at Ugbo-Odogwu in Enugu and proceeded to Bible School for a Diploma course in 1983 at Cetral Bible College now Assemblies of God Divinity School, Nigeria and graduated in 1985.
He served as a Christian Worker in 1983, an Exhorter in 1985, got Licensed in 1988 and was Ordained in 1993. He is currently in his 40 years in continuous and unbroken Ministry since 1982-2022. As a devoted Minister, he served as a Sectional Leader at Obugu from 2009-2010 and Emene1 from 2010-2019 and currently serving as the District Superintendent of Enugu District from 2019 to date.
He is happily married to Evang. (Mrs.) Nwankwo Rose Agwu and they are blessed with four children.
