The Rev John K. Amah is a servant of God with a special burden for young people and families. He has a special calling and training in these areas. He is the District Superintendent of the Sango District, Assemblies of God Nigeria, (The Favoured District).

Dr. Amah qualified as a Civil Engineer before he was called into Full-Time Pastoral Ministry. He went all the way to obtain a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling (M.Ed.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology all from the University of Ibadan. He is an Alumnus of the Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership, Maul in Hawaii, USA. He also received further training at the Permanent School of Prophets in Muar-Johor, Malaysia.

For more than Thirteen (13) years, he was the Lagos District Assemblies of God Youth Coordinator. He also served as the National Secretary of the Youth Ministries Department of the General Council of Assemblies of God Nigeria. He once served as the Lagos District Secretary and now the District Superintendent of Sango District, Assemblies of God Nigeria, and also the National Chairman of General Council Youth Board.

He is the Managing Editor of the Evangel Daily Meal Devotional. He is in hot demand as a speaker both in Nigeria and overseas. He has a beautiful wife Benita, Three (3) pretty daughters and a son who is also currently into Full-Time Ministry with the Assemblies of God UK. He is the grandfather of Three (3).
