He is a well-Schooled servant of God. He obtained Diplomas from Technical College, Polytechnic and Bible College. He afterwards proceeded and got a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian education in 1992. He also holds a Master Degree in Church Administration and in 2015 bagged a PhD in Philosophy of Christian Education from UBU, Lagos where he emerged as the best student of the graduating Ph.D. class. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in 2006 by the University of Tennessee, USA and has several other Certificates of Specialized Seminars and Conferences from well-known Organizations within and outside Nigeria. He is also a recipient of some National Awards and a Fellow of the Haggai Institute International.
He is currently the District Superintendent of Warri District, Assemblies of God Nigeria- a position he has occupied since February 2002. He is a member of The Executive Committee, Assemblies of God, Nigeria (the highest Leadership body), and oversees over Two Hundred and Thirty-Six (236) Pastors and One Hundred and Forty-Five (145) Churches.
He is the immediate past National Chairman of the National Scholarship Scheme; Chairman Alumni Association of Evangel Theological Seminary (EST); Chairman, National Marriage Committee and former Chairman of the National Youth Ministry Board as well as Media Board of Assemblies of God Nigeria. He serves in other National Bodies/Boards and Ad-hoc Counseling Committee Committees amongst others. He serves as a member of the Advisory Council, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Delta State.
The Rev. Dr. Amirah is an extraordinary preacher of the Gospel, with a Ministry that has spanned almost Four (4) Decades; an Administrator per Excellence. A man with a ready pen and author of several books (Mouth Ministry, It’s in Your Mouth, Essentials of Spiritual Leadership, The Wagging Tongue, Understanding the Times, How to Win When You Lose, Divine Verdict, On the Verge of Breakthrough, Catch Me If You Can, When God Shows Up, Purpose by Design, Between Justice and Mercy, etc.), a Mentor of Mentors; a Pastor of Pastors; a father with many feathers and a leader of leaders.
Rev. Dr. Amirah has been a voice for both the weak and the strong long before his call to Full Time Ministry. He has served and Chaired several Panels and Committees on Conflict Resolution. A strong supporter of the weak in the Church and society at large. He has brought solace and joy through his philanthropic gestures to Thousands in his generation. He is constantly seeking out ways to improve the welfare of others and the society. His dedication and commitment to the kingdom business is worth emulating.
He is happily married to Rev. Eunice and blessed with four adorable children.
